MEDICINES USED TO TREAT OCULAR INFLAMMATION

Drugs that treat inflammation can be grouped into three types:

CORTICOSTEROIDS, or simply STEROIDS, NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS, or NSAIDs, and IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE or IMMUNOMODULATORY drugs. DILATING EYEDROPS are frequently prescribed to patients as well.
